#Braamtalks: Water Security

Building Green Cities
What’s being done to maximise water opportunities within the urban environment?
Venue: WWF, 23 Melle Street, Braamfontein

#braamtalks is a series of public panel led debates/discussions, which engage a range of urban stakeholders in think tank sessions to discuss key issues affecting the development, growth and sustainability of urban spaces.

In the lead up to Earth Hour on the 24th March, #braamtalks is hosting a series on Building Green Cities aimed to ignite public discussions on what is being done by local government in response to climate change and our City’s sustainability while illustrating the role South African citizens can play in the solution.

The themes under discussion are food security, access to water and urban land use practices.

The sessions will be 45 minutes with a brief presentation followed by a panel-led debate. The invitation is intended for those with a keen passion for citizen participation in sustainable city planning.

SPACE IS LIMITED SO RSVPS ARE COMPULSORY.
