Thursday 31 March was a day for celebrations. The JICP celebrated Anne Steffny’s contribution to the JICP as she steps down as a Director after 18 years!
We celebrated the return of Lerato Khiba as she joins the JICP, having started her career with the CJP in 2002.
We also celebrated the JICP’s successful application to the Social Employment Fund which will empower 17 NGO’s to create more than 1600 ‘Common Good’ work opportunities for the benefit of communities.
JICP CEO, David van Niekerk, made an astute observation relating to the number of steps on the JICP’s priority project, The Walkable Network, and the number of days Anne has been a Director of the JICP.
