Jozi Walks Weekend 2018

Jozi Walks aims to get Joburgers onto the streets to walk and engage with neighbours and their local community, and to enable people to discover and share insights and ideas about the neighbourhoods they walk.

On the weekend of May 19-20 eleven #JoziWalks will set off in:

*Alexandra with Maboneng Township Arts Experience
* Diepsloot with Black Bite Productions cc.
* Troyeville, Ellis Park, Betrams and Doornfontein with the Spaza Art Gallery
* Hillbrow with Outreach Foundation Hillbrow Theatre Project and Johannesburg Heritage Foundation
* Joburg CBD with Bridge Books City Central
* Marshalltown and Newtown with City Skate Tours
* Orange Farm with In-touch Youth Development And Community Justice
* The Wilds, Yeoville, Berea and Louis Botha with James Delaney
* Orange Grove, Norwood, Orchards and James and Ethel Gray Park with Wits Urban Institute
* Fietas and Sophiatown with Fietas Museum
* Soweto’s Orlando East and West with His and Hers – Jams

This year Joburg Photowalkers have been selected to support the #JoziWalks weekend as the official photographers.
