Rest in Peace Tony De Munnik

In mid July, members of the JICP learnt of the passing of Tony De Munnik due to COVID19 related complications. Our condolences go to Tony’s friends and family at this difficult and very sad time.

We will remember Tony for his joyful attitude and the enthusiasm he bought to the CID Forum, the Joburg Inner City Tourism Association and the Johannesburg Business Forum. Tony was passionate about making real changes in the city.

“May he find peace and favour in God’s loving kindness. We are grateful that Tony firmly believed that our work together and individually could bring change for the better to South Africa, our City and all people. We wish him warmth and cheer in the Heavenly City. Go well. To the family we pray that during the mourning period you find strength and resilience. Fond memories should cheer you up and constantly accompany you in your life’s journey. May you find among yourselves numerous times to laugh and rejoice again. One love.” Ishmael Mkhabela, JICP Chairperson
