On 1 October Mayor Mashaba announced that 12 Joburg Property Company (JPC) properties would be released for redevelopment into mixed income housing as part of the ICHIP initiative. (See announcement HERE)

Following the Mayor’s inspection of properties in the Inner City on 4 October (see Mayor Mashaba declares war on slumlords) the Joburg Property Company has announced their request for proposals with regards to the 12 inner city properties requiring development.

Non-compulsory briefing session
The first non-compulsory briefing session will be held on 27 October 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00. The second non-compulsory briefing session will be held on 12 January 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 at Old Council Chambers, Ground floor, COJ offices, 158 Loveday Street, Braamfontein, Johannesburg. Bidders are requested to only attend one (01) session.
