The City of Johannesburg has created a new app to assist citizens to move from A to B utilizing Public Transport. VayaMoja provides consolidated information about routes, schedules and fares across various transit operators. The app has been designed to help users search for routes; select A to B points and get schedules; estimate cost of fares and more. The app also includes information on incidents, road closures and other transit events.
According to the reviews of the app, there is still some room for improvement, but with all new products, feedback from users is vital to ensure the developers can make the necessary updates and improvements.
