MES

Thanks to the Social Employment Fund, MES has been able to offer more than 80 work opportunities to young people in their community.

A large part of keeping the vitally important operations at MES running smoothly is getting on top of admin. This includes IT admin, and even offers an opportunity to get hands on, installing hardware and RAM. The SEF participants have not only helped with office admin, but they are also assisting in the day care looking after, feeding and educating local children. Furthermore, they are taking pride in cleaning the streets of Hillbrow to sustain a healthy living environment.

SEF participants are also adding to the capacity at the MES Adherence Club based at the Impilo shelter, where chronic medication and support are provided to vulnerable and homeless individuals living with HIV.
